TRIBUTE TO SUSAN HATTIE

Well, I just got home from a long day running ambulance, and first thing I did as I have done for many weeks now, was check my email. As I read I felt the profound loss the rest of you have written about so well. I am relativly new to r.f.c, however I spent a long time as a lurker due to server problems and felt like I knew Susan well from her numerous and often amusing/informative posts. Her loss will be most deeply felt.
I have already gathered several titles of cookbooks that I plan to donate to a local library in Susan's name(I had tried a blood donation and was found to be slightly anemic and turned down) For Andreas: My heart goes out to you and I wish there was more I could do than send a note about your loss...I know nothing can console such a loss, but you will always be in my heart and prayers...
